Research
All campers, from the youngest to the oldest complete a research topic. Using the scientific method, students find the answers to a question whether it is one that they have or one from Innovative Sciences pool of questions. We help them to navigate the internet and use books to complete the work needed to answer the scientific question. Campers will present their topic on the last day of camp to parents, friends and fellow campers. Those eager knowledge seekers are encouraged to conduct an
experiment to shows their findings.
Guest Speakers
Guest speakers from various science professions are invited to speak to the campers. We hope that this exposure to various professions will help the campers to recognize the many different types of opportunities that exist in science, math and engineering. We anticipate that this will encourage them to put an even greater effort forward to accomplishing their academic goals.
Parent Day
The final day of the two week session is reserved for parents. We want you to see what your child/children have accomplished over the short two weeks.
Campers will present some of the experiments that they performed for your enjoyment. They will also give an oral presentation on a research topic that they would have completed. Innovative Science believes that by helping to build confidence in your child and challenging them to complete these
tasks will help them to grow and indeed to be better students.
